BOARD MEETINGS

Coaches are encouraged to attend board meetings, especially during the season of the sport they coach.

ATHLETE PICK UP

It is MANDATORY that a coach from each sport (or team) stays at practice or an event until all athletes from that sport (or team) have been picked up.

Please arrange to pick up your athlete on time.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THOSE LISTED ON MEDICALS ARE ABLE TO PICK ATHLETES UP.  IF 30 MINUTES AFTER THE RETURN OF ATHLETES NO ONE HAS CONTACTED A SPECIAL OLYMPICS COACH, NON-EMERGENCY POLICE WILL BE CALLED.  PHONE NUMBERS MUST BE CURRENT. 

MEDICALS

Athletes are required to have up-to-date medical forms to participate in Special Olympics.

Also, if there are any changes to an address or phone number, contact Van Vanwart at hhr1dad@yahoo.com.

IDENTIFICATION

FOR SAFETY PURPOSES, ALL ATHLETES MUST HAVE AN ID, MEDICAL INFORMATION, AND EMERGENCY CONTACTS WITH THEM AT PRACTICE AND ALL EVENTS!
